Hunter Valley Shiraz has stood the test of time as one of Australia’s best – and we think our De Iuliis Shiraz range has earned its place amongst the greats. Award winning, our Shiraz from Hunter Valley takes only the most triumphant tasting wine and showcases our personal favourites with each red wine release.
For us Shiraz and the Hunter Valley are closely tied to our family and our story. Each bottle of Hunter Valley Shiraz, both in its subtility and power, emulates and embraces our history. We make Hunter Shiraz to honour the tradition of creating and enjoying good quality wine, to share with your families as a toast to ours.
Our Shiraz red wine range is made from vineyards old and new, with methods both traditional and innovative, to consistently emulate the typical savoury Hunter style Shiraz. Utilising a range of subtleties, notes and flavours to appreciate and celebrate the capabilities of a range of vineyards within our beautiful Hunter Valley.
Each individually produced De Iuliis Hunter Shiraz wine is a final product created from the promise and possibilities inherent to the environment we are surrounded by.
Outstanding wine, with incredible depth of flavour, we are proud to continue to create fine examples of true Hunter Shiraz to be enjoyed for years to come.

“Always limited to best-barrel selections from several sites to produce 250 dozen bottles. A precise rendition of the interaction between place and variety, the balance between fruit, oak and tannins is so perfect that it is hard to see where one finishes and the next starts. There’s not an ounce of fat anywhere on the palate, just power and drive.” – James Halliday
