A cattle grazing property was purchased by Joss and Anna De Iuliis in Lovedale. It would take several years of renegerative viticultural for the land to be ready to plant vines.
1990
First vines of semillon and chardonnay are planted on the Lovedale Road Vineyard.
1991
First vines of shiraz and merlot planted on the Lovedale Road vineyard
1999
Mike finishes his winemaking degree from Roseworthy College in South Australia
2001
The De Iuliis cellar door opens at 1616 Broke Road and receives it’s first guests
2002
The winery, located behind the cellar door, opens and crushes the first wines for De Iuliis
2004
De Iuliis is first awarded a five-star Halliday Wine Companion rating
2010
Touriga & montepulciano planted on the Lovedale Road vineyard
2013
Steven Vineyard was purchased from the Roche family. This also was the first vintage of producing our iconic Lovedale Road Shiraz Touriga
