From the rugged mountains of Abruzzi, Italy, where our great-grandfather Donato and my father Joss journeyed on horseback, filling barrels with the essence of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, to the sun-drenched vineyards of Lovedale, our family’s passion for wine has remained unwavering.

Mike was still in school when in 1991, his father Joss and grandfather Charlie planted these Shiraz vines on their Lovedale Road (LDR) property.
Planted on clay loam over friable red clay, this soil produces exceptionally well-built Shiraz.
In 2017 we selected the best barrels from our Steven and LDR Vineyards and blended them to produce this wine. It is the style of Chardonnay that we love to drink.Fine, elegant, complex and well balanced wine.

Our magnums have been tucked away in our cellar for optimum aging. The larger format of magnum bottles assists the aging process by slowing it down.
