Mike was still in school when in 1991, his father Joss and grandfather Charlie planted these Shiraz vines on their Lovedale Road (LDR) property.
Planted on clay loam over friable red clay, this soil produces exceptionally well-built Shiraz.
One of the great wines of Australia, Hunter Shiraz is powerful as it is subtle, with pure fruit flavours balanced by spice and earthy characters. Enjoy this fine example of a true Hunter Shiraz.
