De Iuliis Wines to join Vinitaly this year
Vinitaly is the biggest wine show in the world with some 4,400 wineries and suppliers in 15 halls on show in Verona, Italy from April 7-10th, 2019.
This year at Vinitaly’s ” Tasting Express” Australia’s Peter Jackson returns with a special treat for lovers of Shiraz along with special guest Joss De Iuliis.
The Hunter Valley is one of Australia’s most visited wine regions – located only 140 km north of Sydney in the state of New South Wales. The region was established very soon after European settlement with grapevines imported from South Africa.
As many wine lovers know Australia’s most well-known variety is Shiraz – grown in more than 40 of Australia’s (GI) regions. It is a full flavoured red – bursting with warmth and a range of flavours that directly reflect the local “terroir”. Styles range from elegant and soft to rich, satisfying and powerful.
This year 5 different Shiraz wines made by iconic Hunter producers De Iuliis Wines located in the historic village of Pokolbin will be tasted.
The line up for Vinitaly’s ‘Tasting Express’ will include some outstanding Hunter Valley vintages, showcasing a range of De Iuliis Wines’ Shiraz.
