The Vintage
The 2014 vintage is well-recorded as one of the most heralded years in the Hunter Valley. It is rare to find a flagship wine from this vintage, let alone the quality that this wine possesses. This wine is a true representation of the Hunter Valley Shiraz style, and it is a special treat for any wine enthusiast who appreciates a wine that has been carefully crafted and aged over time.
Cellaring
Careful cellaring will see this wine develop beautifully over the next 25 years.
Notes
The production of this wine is limited to 250 dozen. In 2014, we selected the best barrels from a number of sites, in an effort to produce a wine that will not only drink well in its youth, but hopefully, will be a classic after a few years in the cellar. Whilst still being in the traditional Hunter medium bodied style, this wine shows significant depth of fruit and weight that will hold it in good stead for future years. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
