Hunter Valley Family Fun Pass

When you pick up your voucher from De Iuliis Wines located at 1616 Broke Road, Pokolbin, you’ll receive a special envelope filled with vouchers to use.

• • De Iuliis: includes two Made by Make Tastings for adults, and two kids’ snack & activity packs
  • Hunter Belle Cheese Room: includes four vouchers for a cheese and fudge tasting, and a scoop of gelato.
  • Taste of the Country: two adult vouchers for a menu item & drink from the Hunter Family Fun menu, and two kids vouchers for a menu item & a beverage from the kids section of the Hunter Family Fun menu. If you have a teen who needs a larger adult meal, you can upgrade directly at the cafe for an additional charge.
  • Hunter Valley Wildlife Park: a family pass for two adults and two kids.

The pass is suitable for families with children of all ages. Kids 0-2 don’t require a ticket to join you on this family fun day, and you can purchase any additional food or drinks for kids 0-2 from the different venues if you wish.

A full day is recommended to enjoy all the activities included in the pass. After starting and picking up your pass at De Iuliis Wines, located at 1616 Broke Road, you can use any activity at any time you choose. The pass is valid from 7 days after the day of pickup.

You can by visiting the De Iuliis cellar door, but it’s recommended to book in advance to guarantee availability, especially during peak periods.

The wine tasting of 8 wines at De Iuliis, is around the equivalent of a standard drink. You do not have to consume the wine if you do not want to drink. Unfortunately De Iuliis do not offer non-alcoholic wines or beverages at this time.

Taste of the Country is known for accommodating dietary restrictions. Our Hunter Valley Family Fun pass includes a special menu that includes yummy meals like a drover’s beef burger, chicken schnitzel burger, vegan turkish roll, soup of the day, smoked salmon and salad roll, and garden salad with fetta, plus more. Kids meal items include mini ham and cheese pizza, chicken nuggets and chips, mini sausage rolls, cheese toastie and fish fingers and chips. Please speak to the friendly team at Taste of the Country if you have unique dietary requirements.

All venues have access for both wheelchairs and prams. There are disabled access bathrooms at each venue and baby change tables in each bathroom.

Sometimes things happen and you need to amend your reservation. If we cannot find another suitable date for you to use your pass, we will offer a 100% refund (minus any booking fees) for cancellations greater than 2 days before the booking. In the event of a cancellation 48 hours before the booking, we can offer an 80% refund (minus any booking fees).

There is no charge for babies or toddlers under the age of 2 at any venue. This means that they also aren’t provided with a meal or a gelato, but you can purchase items at each venue if you wish.

The pass is typically designed for one family of two adults and two kids aged between 3 and 18 and cannot be shared.

No, absolutely not. If you allow anyone under the age of 18 access to alcohol, your pass will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund. It is against the responsible service of alcohol and Australian law for underage guests to consume alcohol.
