Verdelho, as a variety, has an extensive history in the Hunter Valley.In the early 1820s, pioneering figures like James Busby and John Macarthur brought Verdelho from Europe. Initially, it was used mainly for fortified wines.
These vines that produce this Estate Verdelho were planted on our Lovedale Road property in the early 90s.

The Hunter Valley is renowned for producing some of the best Semillon in the world. These vines are planted on our Lovedale Road property in the early 90’s. Pale lime green in appearance, with a bouquet of intense lemon and lime characters. This wine, in its youth, displays fresh Meyer lemon characters, a light palate, and a crisp line of refreshing acidity.

Attractive fresh lemon juice aromas, bright and vibrant. Lovely fruit purity here, the palate likewise with precision and freshness, vitality, line and length. Classic Hunter semillon delicacy and finesse, allied with intensity

We love making rosé, so why not add bubbles? Our winemaker Conor wanted to make something fun and dangerously drinkable that will be a staple for good times with great friends. Or even on your own, who are we to judge?!

Pecorino is the native white variety from the Abruzzo region where the De Iuliis family immigrated from. A trip to Abruzzo in 2022, inspired Mike to pay homage to winemaking of the region and so, the release of the 2025 Steven Vineyard Pecorino marks a new stylistic direction for our pecorino.
